Meet Our 2012 Scholars

Please join us in congratulating the Foundation's 2012 scholarship recipients! These scholars have been recognized for their hard work in their academics, extracurricular activities, and contributions in the community. We congratulate each one of our scholars, and look forward to sharing their journey with them.

Giuliana Huffman - Waco High School Graduate

Giuliana is a 2012 graduate of Waco High School. While a student there, she took dual credit English, Psychology and U.S. History. Giuliana was also involved in National Honor Society, Student Council and Varsity Choir. She is attending McLennan Community College and majoring in Psychology.

Antonio Cruz - University High School Graduate

Antonio is a 2012 graduate of University High School. Antonio took dual credit classes in Macroeconomics, U.S. Government and English. He was also involved with the Art & Poetry Club, Crime Stopper's, and the Science Club. He is attending the University of Texas and majoring in Education.

Bri'tany Brown - La Vega High School Graduate

Bri'tany is a 2012 graduate of La Vega High School. While a student there, she took dual credit English. Bri'tany was also involved with band, track, Gear UP, choir and served as the basketball manager. She is attending McLennan Community College and majoring in Psychology.

Robbie Johnson - Connally High School Graduate

Robbie is a 2012 graduate of Connally High School. Robbie took honors classes in English, Biology, and Chemistry. She was also involved with Debate and served as a class officer, trainer and Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo Sweetheart. She is attending the University of Texas at Arlington and majoring in Pre-medicine.

Preston Baize - Mart High School Graduate

Preston is a 2012 graduate of Mart High School. While a student there, he took honors classes in English, Physics, and Biology. Preston was also involved with baseball, basketball and golf. He is attending McLennan Community College and majoring in Agriculture Business.

Ashley Dimas - A.J. Moore Academy Graduate

Ashley is a 2012 graduate of the A.J. Moore Academy. Ashley took dual credit classes in Computer Information Systems, World History, and Principles of Technology. She was also involved with JROTC Color Guard, National Honor Society and Key Club. Ashley is attending McLennan Community College and majoring in Education.
